Why Choose Wendy?
As you head out into the world of real estate transactions you have many details to organize and decisions to make. I encourage you to actively seek out a relationship with a quality home inspector who will give you detailed information about all the major systems in your home as well as the structure and the lot. I am one such inspector.
I offer a straightforward service for my clients. I provide a great inspection at a fair price. It's that simple. I offer clients an expert visual inspection. My business allows me to combine my prior experiences including nine years of as a residential builder, construction teacher, and State of Oregon Building Inspector. I started performing private home inspections in 2002 and currently inspect about 400 homes a year in the Portland area.
Trust an inspector who has built and remodeled homes, seeing them from the inside out.
I strive to be the best home inspector I can be. I am continually upgrading my skills. The following are additional certifications I have gained to enhance my value as a home inspector.
• Certified One and Two Family Structural Inspector - State of Oregon This gives me up to date and thorough knowledge of state building codes
• Certified Pest Applicator - Department of Agriculture This training concentrated on wood destroying pests and fungus and allows me to perform 'Pest and Dryrot' inspections for all loan types including FHA and VA loans.
• Certified Composite Siding Inspector - National Organization of Exterior Finish System Inspectors - Training and testing in identifying damage protocols for many types of composite siding such as LP, EIFS, HardiPlank, etc.
• Certified Residential Radon Measurement Provider - National Radon Proficiency Program Although this certification is not required in Oregon, I wanted the best and most thorough training available so I can provide accurate radon measurements.
Wendy Stanley thanks her customers by giving back to our community. To date I have donated over $1700 to the Oregon Food Bank as well as $1000 to the American Lung Association. I also volunteered at those orgnizations to really feel a part of the great work they do. I will keep you posted on my next donation.
